DOMESTIC SHIPPING POLICY
  • Everything is hand-made, sometimes to order.
  • Current processing times are 5-10 business days to ship regardless of chosen ship speed or shipping carrier. 
  • We recommend shipping with UPS over the United States Postal Service (USPS.)
    • UPS packages ship faster and are the easiest to deal with in the event they lose or damage your package in transit.  â€‹
  • Due to USPS refusal to honor pickup requests, USPS packages are dropped off once a month at the Downtown Jersey City Post Office. Only shipments to PO Boxs, APOs, or FPOs will ship via USPS.
    • If you selected USPS and are shipping to a PO Box, APO or FPO then you will receive a shipping email before seeing tracking updates on USPS.com towards the end of the month.
    • For questions about when your package will be dropped either call us at 1-201-653-5674 or email info@cbihateperfume.com.
  • We reserve the right to upgrade your carrier to UPS.
    • If you selected USPS at checkout and are not shipping to a PO Box APO or FPO you will be upgraded to UPS. This is to ensure safe and fast delivery of your package.
  • UPS Packages ship once a week (typically Friday.) â€‹
    • expect tracking emails on Friday.
  • Once your package has shipped you will receive an email. 
    • If you haven't received an email it either went into your junk folder in your email or your package has not shipped yet. 
  • Track your package, if your package seems lost or stuck in transit contact the shipping carrier to determine what happened.
  • In the event your shipping carrier loses or damages your package, please contact us either by phone at 1-201-653-5674 or email info@cbihateperfume.com. 

    • For damage, be sure to include photos of the damaged box, items, packing slip, and the number on the outside of the package.

      • We will file a claim on your behalf with UPS and USPS. UPS and USPS Insurance covers packages under $100. Packages over $100 are covered by a 3rd party insurance plan from Shipsurance and requires your input to claim. 

      • Please do not throw away any damaged packaging or products until the claim has been filed. 

  • We will not reship a lost package until you contact the shipping service and confirm with them.
  • For damaged packages we will not reship until we have photos and you work with us to file the necessary claims with the shipping carrier, or Shipsurance if necessary.
    • A lack of compliance may lead to a permanent loss of your package.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING POLICY
  • Everything is hand-made, sometimes to order.
  • Current processing times are 5-10 business days to ship. 
    • If you need expedited processing (faster than our current processing times) please email info@cbihateperfume.com for options.
  • DHL is the only international shipping carrier we use. 
    • We have had too many issues with various international postal services to make it worth using anything else. 
  • Email us if your country is not listed to arrange shipping.

    • We might be able to add your country to our list!​

  • The recipient will have the responsibility of clearing Customs with DHL in their respective country.

    • If you are buying something for someone in a different country keep this in mind. ​

  • Clearing Customs includes paying DHL: VAT, import taxes, or duties that may be levied after purchase and any fees DHL charges for processing during the shipping process.

    • As well as filling out any customer forms if necessary.​

    • DHL will contact you for forms and payment.

    • We will try our best to make the process and costs as transparent as possible. ​

  • Q: Will you amend my invoice to make it cheaper to import?

    • A: No, we will not amend or falsify your invoice to make it cheaper to import. This is fraud. 

  • DHL packages ship once a week (typically Friday.)
    • Expect tracking emails on Friday. 
  • Once your package has shipped you will receive a email.

  • Track your package. If your package seems lost or stuck in transit, contact DHL to determine what has happened.​

    • If your package is stuck in Customs, it is your responsibility to contact DHL to determine what to do next.

      • DHL contacts us to supply any necissary customs documents. Any issues DHL contacts you about with your local customs office re; vat, taxes or duties are your responsibility.

  • In the event DHL loses or damages your package please contact us by email info@cbihateperfume.com. 

    • For damage, be sure to include photos of the damaged box, items, invoice, and the number on the outside of the package. 

      • We will file a claim with DHL on your behalf. DHL Insurance covers the total cost of the shipment. â€‹

RETURNS/REFUND POLICY
  • As these are handmade personal care products they are nonreturnable/refundable unless they are: 

    • Defective

      • In the event your item is defective (pump doesn't work, roller-ball is stuck, leaked in transit etc.) either call us at 1-201-653-5674 or email us at info@cbihateperfume.com and describe the nature of your issue and we will resolve it as quickly as possible. ​

    • Incorrect

Failure to inform us, provide the necessary information, and photos in a timely manner may result in you keeping the incorrect item and forfeiting your right to exchange or return it.​
